Courses for the 500+ hour Body-Mind Centering® Somatic Movement Educator program began in October 2019. After a long break due to the pandemic, we resumed with Module 3 in October 2022.
Courses can be taken individually or as part of the certification program.

Classes run approximately 9am-6pm daily.
Notes on course fees:
Fees shown include 10% GST.
New Zealand residents receive a 15% discount.
Course payments received after the listed due date will incur a $75 administrative fee per course ($150 per module).
Homework requirements for those seeking certification include several guidance and private sessions with a certified BMC practitioner or teacher. Fees for these sessions are paid directly to the practitioner, and not included in the course fees.
*The first four courses of the Infant Developmental Movement Educator (IDME) Program – Senses and Perceptions 1, Ontogenetic Development, RRR and BNP – are part of the SME program. These courses can also be taken individually for people who wish to complete the IDME program (not currently being offered at SEA but are available at several other program locations. We hope to be able to offer this in a few years’ time.)
